Etapa de transición por la cuenca industrial central asturiana. Salida por Poago y Veriña, con vistas a la siderurgia de Arcelor. Tramo poco vistoso pero histórico. Entrada a Avilés por su casco antiguo medieval, con la calle Galiana porticada y el Centro Niemeyer.
